Deschutes County Circuit Court

The Deschutes County Circuit Court is the trial court for civil matters in the county. It is at 1100 NW Bond Street in Bend. The courthouse is open from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. All civil filings, motions, and judgments pass through this office. The court also handles family law, probate, and criminal cases, but civil court records have their own section within the system.

To view civil court records in person, go to the File Room on the first floor. Window #4 is where you request files. Staff will pull the case folder for you. You can review any civil court record on site at no cost. This is allowed under ORS 192.314, which gives the public the right to inspect public records. Bring the case number if you have it. Standard copy fees are $0.25 per page. Certified copies of civil court records cost an extra $5.00 per certificate. If your request will exceed $25 in total cost, the court will send you an estimate before they proceed. Under ORS 192.324, they must provide copies within a reasonable time frame. The Deschutes County court accepts not-to-exceed checks up to $30.00.
